Maryté Anilionis (pronounced Ma rē’ ta) is a registered nurse in the Boulder Colorado area for more than twenty years with experience in Oncology, Pain Control, Inflammatory Disorders, HIV, Insomnia, and Holistic Medicine. She has been an advocate for Holistic Medicine all of her adult life having had a previous practice utilizing deep tissue massage, applied kinesiology, energy work, and herbal medicine.
Maryté has a Master of Science Degree in Health Care Education from Regis University. She became interested in exploring medical cannabis for her own reasons of debilitating back and nerve pain several years ago.
In response to Cannabis Medicine currently evolving as a field of science, Maryté founded NurseBuds, to offer knowledgeable and trained cannabis nurses who stay informed and educated about the latest information and breakthroughs in Cannabis Medicine. The mission of NurseBuds is to educate patients about alternatives to pharmaceuticals, review cannabis-drug interactions, and explore options for individualized medical cannabis therapy.
Maryté is a member of the American Cannabis Nurses Association, Cannabis Nurses Network, and Cannabis of Clinicians Colorado. She is trained by current standards set by the American Cannabis Nurses Association and The Medical Cannabis Institute.
Maryté enjoys traveling with her husband Mark, walks with her pups Dezzy & Pixy, skiing, and cooking fabulous food.
